Évente több ezer kilakoltatás történik, idős, beteg emberek és gyermekes családok kerülnek az utcára. A kilakoltatások során a gyerekeket elválasztják szüleiktől, akik így állami gondozásba kerülnek, ahonnan felnőttként kikerülve sokan hajléktalanná válnak.
Ha szerinted sem megoldás, hogy a gyerekeket elválasztják a szüleiktől, hogy embereket mindenféle elhelyezés nélkül tesznek nap mint nap az utcára, hogy a hajléktalan embereket a rendőrség üldözi, akkor csatlakozz hozzánk!

📣 MARCH FOR THE RIGHT TO HOUSING! 📣
Without housing, there’s no dignity, no security, no family, no health, no life. However, there are solutions to the Hungarian housing crisis and you can contribute to it, too: join the Right to Housing March in Budapest!
✊ Let’s demand together, that no one should be evicted without making sure that they have an appropriate place to stay! Furthermore, people living on the street should be helped, not punished! ✊
A Város Mindenkié (The City is for All) is organizing the 8th “March for the Right to Housing”.
📌 When? 2018. September 29. Saturday 15:00
📌 Where? Budapest, VI. district, Liszt Ferenc tér 8. (the march starts from Zeneakadémia - the Budapest Academy of Music)
🚶 Route of the march: Zeneakadémia (Academy of Music) - Király utca - Nagymező utca - Andrássy út - József Attila utca - Nádor utca - Szabadság tér (Freedom square)
☝ Why you should join the march: ☝
Every year thousands of evictions are performed in Hungary, where - in many cases - elderly and ill people as well as families with children are being forced to the streets. In the course of these evictions children are separated from their parents and put into foster care. Leaving these institutions as adults, many of them become homeless.
✊ If you agree, that it’s no solution to separate children from their parents, to put people on the streets day by day with no accomodation being provided and to have homeless people being chased by the police - then join us for the protest march!
✊ We’ll continue the fight against the evictions of families with children: this fall, we are going to hand in a proposal for a modification of the law to prevent families with children from being evicted without providing them with somewhere to go!

❕ The City is for All was founded in 2009 by people who are committed to working for a just and egalitarian society. Our members are currently or formerly homeless people, those experiencing housing poverty and people standing in solidarity with them. Our aim is to draw attention to the housing crisis in Hungary and hold the national and local governments accountable for not addressing it properly. ❕
